Easter '09: The Results of The Resurrection (4-12-09)

This Easter, several members of Tribe shared their stories about how the resurrection of Jesus Christ has transformed their lives. Pastor Mike teaches from John 3 that the resurrection becomes very hard to dismiss when we see the effects of it in the lives of others and in society as we know it.

Human Trafficking Awareness (4-5-09)

Tribe hosted Ruben Nuno from the Human Trafficking division of the Salvation Army for an evening of discussion about the labor/sex trafficking trade in Los Angeles and what we can do about it. The last 20 minutes are a Q&A, and though the questions are not audible, Pastor Ruben's answers can be heard.

Chapter three is a dream sequence where the bride dreams that her husband has left her. Some themes covered in today's message are: fears in marriage, divorce, the concept of 'soul mates', and how to know if your fiancee is "The One".

Song of Solomon 2:8-17 (3-15-09)

The Song of Solomon is a series of reflections through poetry on different stages of a relationship between King Solomon and a woman known as "The Shulammite'. In our passage this week, we see what their dating relationship looked like, and Pastor Mike brings application to singles, dating couples and married couples about the 'little foxes', or problems that mature couples must work through.

In chapter two of The Song, we see how a thoughtful husband loves, cares for and protects his wife, how wives are to create an environment that her their husbands want to come home to, and their admonition to single friends to not 'arouse of awaken love until it desires'.
