12 Angry Men: Joel

Joel prophecies to a nation that has recently been destroyed by a plague of locusts that as he says, foreshadows the Day of the Lord. The day of the Lord was understood to be a time when God would judge the nations, but Joel says that God would punish unfaithful Israel well unless they repented. Today we look at the Prophet Joel and how his message relates to the way we communicate with each other.

To illustrate the unfaithfulness of Israel with God's unchanging love towards them, God asks Hosea to marry a prostitute and in spite of her unfaithfulness, repeatedly take her back again ad again.
