Luke 24: The Death of Death: Resurrection

In the last chapter of Luke we see three different scenes that take place on the same day involving the risen Christ: at the tomb in the morning, on the road to Emmaus in the afternoon and with the disciples in the evening. As different as each scene is, Luke focuses on how similar the peoples response to Jesus was, moving from discouragement to worship.
