The Temptation of Jesus (Luke 4:1-13)
Jesus, as a "perfectly suited savior of all mankind" was tempted in all ways as we are, and was found without sin (Heb 4:15). As Jesus is tempted by Satan in the wilderness, we see His perfect submission to God not through His deity, but through the Word of God and by the power of the Spirit of God, the same provisions available to us today.

Father's Day '10 (Psalm 112)
This week, we address the men at Tribe who are currently fathers and those who hope to be fathers one day. Psalm 112 is a song written by a man (King David) to men. In it, he addresses the foundation of our wisdom and the promises about the righteous man's children as well as his character, conduct, confidence, and generosity.

The Discipline of Simplicity (Matt. 6:25-34)
Jesus asks the question, "Which of you by worrying can add one minute to your life?" While we all know the answer, worry and anxiety still consume our thoughts. Jesus then teaches his disciples to have a singleness of purpose, a simplicity in lifestyle and a separateness from the world.
